Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about carbon fiber products and our services.
What is carbon fiber?
Carbon fiber is a lightweight, high-strength material made from thin crystalline filaments of carbon atoms. It is five times stronger than steel and twice as stiff, yet significantly lighter. YongXian CarbonFiber manufactures carbon fiber tubes, plates, and custom-shaped parts for aerospace, automotive, marine, medical, and renewable energy industries.
What carbon fiber grades do you offer?
We offer standard grades including T700, T800, M40, and M55J, each suited to different strength and modulus requirements. Our technical team can help you select the optimal grade based on your application, whether you need high tensile strength, high modulus, or a balanced combination.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our MOQ varies by product type and specifications. For standard tube and plate products, MOQ typically starts at 50–100 pieces. For custom parts, the MOQ depends on mold design and process complexity. We also support small-batch prototypes for R&D projects. Contact our sales team for a specific quote.
What shipping methods do you support?
We support multiple international shipping methods and trade terms including FOB, CIF, DDP, EXW, and CIP. Our logistics team has extensive experience with air freight, sea freight, and express courier services. We can arrange shipping worldwide with full tracking and documentation support.
How long is the lead time?
Lead times depend on product type and order volume. Standard tube and plate products typically ship within 7–15 working days. Custom orders require 15–30 working days depending on complexity and mold fabrication. Rush orders may be accommodated with advance coordination. We provide estimated lead times with every quotation.
Do you offer custom carbon fiber solutions?
Yes, we specialize in custom carbon fiber manufacturing. We can produce parts based on your drawings (DWG, DXF, STP, STEP) or specifications. Our services include mold design, material selection, process optimization, and prototyping. We handle small-batch custom runs as well as large-scale production.
